I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Relay ALERT verified by city council rep Palmisano. There is going to be an anti Musl*m - anti- imm*grant rally downtown Minneapolis on Saturday at noon. Domestic hate groups from several states will be attending. It's going to led by one of the dominant Jan 6ers. Their plan is to get riled up and march on the Cedar Riverside neighborhood. Local law enfor is aware of this and plans to try to oppose/contain them. The community leaders in Cedar riverside are asking good people to NOT show up because they want the streets in CR to be empty. This is 100% a move by the hate groups to escalate violence in order for the orange Nero to declare martial law. If there's no one for them to have conflict with, this goal will fail. PLEASE DO NOT GO DOWNTOWN, TO THE U, OR TO CEDAR RIVERSIDE ON SATURDAY. Please be careful driving near these areas.

I feel like my friend group here is shrinking. Either people are peacing out over the crazy or the supposedly nonexistent algorithm is pushing big accts to the top of the feed to the exclusion of my mutual's posts. Either way, it just feels like one more sad thing to deal with.
