Che le IA non siano frutto di magia, ma di lavoro umano sottopagato lo sappiamo da tempo — eppure continuiamo a fingere sorpresa.

for the last 54 years the part of THX 1138's dystopia where bamboozled citizens confess their sins to a screen, revealed on the other side to simply be playing a tape recording back at them, has been a bleakly cynical joke. people couldn't be that stupid right? it turned out not to be a joke at all.
