The NHS is there for us throughout our lives – but we don't always realise it until we need it. 💙

Think about it: publicly funded, free at the point of use, accessible for all.
That's remarkable. That's worth fighting for.

"Those images they saw, that's the real price of oil."

One of the UK's most devastating oil spills happened 30 years ago, killing thousands of seabirds and turning the beaches of south Wales black. Never again. We need a clean, renewable future for our seas & wildlife.

⚠️ If toxins are found at harmful levels in marine animals that have become beached on UK shores & died, it could show the oil & gas industry is wrecking our seas even more than we thought.

Honestly, Angelenos: Everyone hates LAPD helicopters. Everyone. Point out that they're using the choppers the way ICE is patrolling and you will do a helluva lot to shift attitudes across the city.

Point out that over 90% of calls those helicopters are on don't require them -- by LAPD's own data
One thing I think leftists with people skills can do that will pay off wildly is talking to regular folks who are liberal and pissed and getting them to realize that a lot of what ICE is doing is built expressly from what local law enforcement is doing.
Police lie. All the time. In paperwork. To prosecutors. To the media. On the stand while testifying under oath. And even when in the very rare case their lies are exposed, they get to keep lying with few if any consequences. This pattern isn’t just limited to ICE.
