A great way to get informed about how MPs have voted on various issues.

Not surprisingly, Dutton's voting history is terrifying and goes against the interest of so many Australians.

How does your MP vote on the issues that matter to you?
Forget what politicians say. What truly matters is what they do. And what they do is vote, to write our laws which affect us all.

Next week will be the Parliament's last chance to spare voters from an onslaught of outright lies in political ads.

87% of Australians support truth in political advertising laws. Our Government should do its job.

I consider myself fortunate to have escaped damage, but aware so many others were hit hard.

There are some great lessons from the WA election with the Greens and independents picking up as much of the swing against Labor as the Liberals did.
It’s a big wake up call for the major parties – they might be influenced by the gas industry, but voters are taking a second look.

As a rule of thumb, its always best to presume floodwaters contain untreated sewage (and worse). Urban Utilities has confirmed the Brisbane flood has seen untreated sewage released from treatment plants.

Dont forget radio is also online these days, eg

Or grab an App eg "Radio Australia"
Use sparingly if low data. Have *multiple* charged powerbanks. Voila.
Unless phone coverage goes down

Women don't choose to work predominantly in low paying sectors. The work predominantly done by women is under valued.

And even in those sectors they earn less than men.

And when women do work in "high paying" sectors, they earn less than men.
The pay gap without causes is misleading.
What are the reasons for women to work fewer hours, to not as often being in senior, higher-paying, roles and to primarily work in low paying sectors?

What a system heading towards Brisbane/Gold Coast. Arriving by Thurs/Fri at this stage. A tropical cyclone with possible winds over 125km/r and perhaps even more concerning will be the potential for extensive flooding.
