I often get asked where I get my information from and usually I respond with a really vague "well umm".

Which isn't particularly helpful for anyone. This ramble of words probably isn't going to be either.

Even enviro groups, who are notoriously cowardly and weak, think this bill sucks. All the Greens are doing if they vote for it is telegraphing to Labor they are terrified of standing up to them, and taking one of their key issues off the table for this term of parliament. Pathway to 5% of the vote.

Farrah and Muhanad have a lot of integrity and upon finding out that a scammer was trying to trick other Gazans by saying he promoted their campaign (when he didn’t) they decided to change the URL so he couldn’t do that- so this is their new link to their fundraiser now.

Just got an ad about Insta's 'Teen Accounts'.

Now's a good time to remind everyone that just three days ago it was reported that Meta allegedly halted and buried 'causal' evidence of social media harm.

Politicians behind the teen social media ban have a surprising message: "expect problems".

They are setting expectations that there will be "lots of stories... about how this is a catastrophic failure of process and rollout" but still worthwhile.

I dont know what to tell you, but this how most AI and automation works.

Except its usually a borderline slave labour force is some other country that don't ever get the opportunity to fraud their way to a billion dollars.
Founders on LinkedIn still seem to be struggling with the difference between telling people about their humble beginnings and admitting to straight up committing fraud.

So the USA plans to fabricate their science going forward? If they do, they'll really be able to behave as if they fully don't need scientific evidence anymore. They can just pump out pseudoscience, like antivaxx articles "made by LLMs".

See doi.org/10.31234/osf... for the case in psychology.

Much like offloading onto LLMs, men are more likely to feel OK offloading generally. Women do not & sadly are used to doing this work. Men are formed by patriarchy to demand, expect, and tolerate this. This is in pure contrast to all the women who contact me to say they will work hard to fight AI.
TBF they need much more help than just not using AI, but indeed they are its most vociferous supporters and for good reason: men under patriarchy are used to outsourcing (especially to women) their cognitive labour
