WHISTLE CODE 2: abduction

Hi All, New to the group. A mother was abducted by ICE while dropping off her child at my kid's Spanish immersion preschool here in Issaquah yesterday. Would love to distribute some whistles here if there are any available.
(Ordered supplies to make packets but that will take some time for them to arrive and would love to distribute some Monday morning at drop off if possible).

Seattle isn’t seeing anywhere near the level of activity as Chicago…yet. ICE is definitely ramping up here, but no gangs of masked feds for now

#Seattle this is happening here too. On Thursday ICE thugs grabbed an Issaquah at preschool drop off.

Everyone can do something:
- buy bulk whistles
- recruit a 3D printer in your neighborhood
- print/fold whistle zines
- organize a whistle party
- wear your whistle prominently
- spread the word

There have been confirmed ICE sightings near my children's school. One parent said an ICE officer knocked on their car window during pick-up and questioned them about their citizenship. PTO is busy organizing safe passage and printing out whistle zines.

"Community organizer Teresa Magaña said the whistles are “making a huge difference.”

If ICE is nearby, it instructs people to blow three short bursts. If they’re actively detaining someone, users should sound the alarm by blowing one long, continuous whistle."

Yesterday I left 10 extra whistles on my door w/a note saying to take 1 & blow it to alert others if you spot ICE agents. 6 have been claimed already. I’m going to buy more to restock. It’s an easy, friendly way to support immigrants & to self identify as a safe space.
