89% of organisations support MUP in the UK, with only 8% opposed and 3% neutral or undecided, finds a new report by the AHA.

Analysing hundreds of consultation responses, media reports, academic articles and more, it shows support even among many alcohol industry groups.

Obesity and alcohol are two key risk factors for cancer, which is why we were delighted to see the Chancellor expand the soft drinks levy and increase alcohol duty in today’s Budget.

The forthcoming National Cancer Plan must build on these welcome steps by placing prevention at its heart.

Today’s Men’s Health Strategy recognises cancer as a significant health issue for men.

We’re pleased to see new commitments on community health & prostate cancer testing, but stronger action is needed on cancer risk factors like alcohol.
