new update on this neighbor: my husband tried to reason with her by telling her about some recent financial issues we’ve had (a mistake made with a kind heart) and she responded by big dogging him with “i’m more poor than you are do you need budgeting tips” which - lmao damn ok

i told this lady that i didn’t really appreciate being threatened with the city like that and she decided to vent four years of resentment onto us, incl how she hates that we don’t take her advice all the time and also hates that she doesn’t have a key to our house(???) good lord

I have much appreciated you all letting workers put ladders/ scaffolds on your property to do my siding work. I thank Chris for checking my door locks a couple times. We chat over the fence and I try to give recommendations.
Yeah, a decent neighbor relationship. Not like those who have keys and care for one another's pets if needed, or do things socially together like the people who used to live there (renters, sadly-Kara refused to sell them the house after many years as tenants, so she could get the highest sale price possible).
Oh well.

“we didnt have autism in my day” my grandfather had a “clock repair” hobby that involved him taking all the parts out, cleaning and replacing them back in the clock, and then setting them on a table where he could look at them. no one else was allowed to touch them. none of them worked.
