Tragic situation, and I hope for a swift recovery by the officer, who was reportedly struck and sustained "severe injuries." But this raises the obvious question; were the officers in uniforms and driving marked vehicles, or were they wearing plainclothes and facemasks and driving unmarked cars?

Admittedly falls in the impotently whining category, but this is something we should’ve thought about before we let tech companies make all of *us* the media—but w/out the guardrails.

Toothpaste is all over the countertop and on the floor, and I don’t see how it gets back in the tube.

In the modern world, media influencers outrank most politicians and elected officials.

That's just the way it is. You can decry it impotently and whine about "show horses" versus "work horses", or you can do something productive and work on fixing the media environment.
