This is why we all freak out about theft btw, bc just a few copies can make an actual, real difference. you would be surprised at how few copies someone needs to make it onto a bestseller list
I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

I am starting to consider opening an online store again. Last time I worked with a collective who helped me run it but as a result I wasn’t able to be involved in every aspect. I want to try again and maybe start small with a sticker shop in the new year. I just really love designing trinkets 🥺

I’ve trying to learn to knit to see if I can have a chill hobby. I don’t know how to fix mistakes yet so when I mess up I just undo the whole thing and start from scratch 🫣. But each time it’s better at least? Just undid all of this lmao. I like the process though
