We were told for weeks that the military build up in the Caribbean was about drug traffickers and was honestly nothing to do with oil, but the US has only gone and stolen a Venezuelan oil tanker.

Trump administration switches from murdering fishermen to piracy
After the bother Pete Hegseth got in by ordering the killing of fishermen, you would think the Trump administration would be less blatant in its violations of international law, but we are not dealing...

The US has seized an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela. A reporter asked Trump what happens to the oil.

Trump: "We keep it, I guess"

But its not just the US that steals Venezuelas resources. Our govt is holding up to $2bn of Venezuelan gold & won't give it back!

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

A woman in Saskatchewan needs surgery for a parathyroid issue and is being offered MAiD instead.

There’s no one in the province who can perform the procedure and the government won’t pay to send her elsewhere.

This is why disability advocates warn about assisted dying

So why aren't you nationalising the private rolling stock leasing companies? And why doesn't the same argument apply to e.g. the private water industry?

An easy way to explain luddites:

Textile manufacturers brought in machines that could do in an hour what would have taken 12 hours by hand.

And then, tried to keep paying the now 12x more productive workers the same wages as before.

That's it, that was the problem luddites had. Not complex.

There is no pot of money to pay your pension. Pensions are paid by the contribution of people in work today. The ratio of workers to pensioners is dropping due to the ageing population. We need 250000 immigrants per yr (as does Germany) to continue paying at the rate we do now. #immigration
