One of the springs which should be feeding a chalk stream in our region after one of the driest spring and summer periods on record.
It's going to be a wet weekend - but is it enough?

A wet weekend is not enough for our rivers | Wildlife Trust for Beds Cambs & Northants
We may have had showers in the past few days, and it looks like being a wet weekend, but our rivers are still suffering from a very dry year.

Have you even seen anything more fabulous? Amazing finds from Sarah at Old Sulehay in Northants! 🍄
I've waited a lifetime to find Striated Bird's Nest fungus, and this week I've seen it twice! Also a magnificent colony of Coral Slime-mould, a troop of another slime-mould Physarum sp. with a lime-encrusted peridium and a heap of Witch's Butter. At @wildlifebcn.org Old Sulehay NR

🏡At the end of last week our CEO Brian Eversham wrote to MPs in our region urging them to support an amendment to the current Planning and Infrastructure Bill to protect nature.
Please support by adding your name to the campaign before Wednesday
Email your MP. Amendment 130 would make sure the new planning systems works for, not against nature.demand they keep amendment 130 in the Bill
It's now or never. This is the last chance to protect nature in the Planning and Infrastructure Bill. Email your MP to keep amendment 130 in the Bill.
