After some confusion on my part, I didn’t get on T to transition until tonight. But this is it! My first dose went in an hour ago. It was not nearly as scary to do as I thought it would be. Negligible discomfort, the needle gauge was teensy. Didn’t even feel like I earned my reward afterwards! LOL

He got my testosterone ’script off to the pharmacy! 46 years of living as male secretly at home and in my head all the time just wasn’t cutting it anymore. Always told myself I was fine like that, didn’t need to transition. Spoiler: I wasn’t fine. 🤫

Been noticing people disappearing from your feed? Check some of the Advanced moderation settings on Bsky like “Rude People” and “Engagement Farming” to see if turning those Off brings them back. Artists are being made invisible by some of these settings, apparently!

Have you checked your settings? Theres a new feature called "hide rude people" that's auto-on. I had to go in and turn mine off to start seeing my friends' posts again

Hah, almost 50 here, still find that mind blowing. As someone forced to parent myself and be an adult way before I was ready, this hits in an odd way. Such a confusing state to be in: way too mature, not grown enough. And THEN the sadness over lost years sets in. 😂

Artists: don’t be afraid of making messy art. This guy is a rough doodle but I LOVE him. He FEELS like what I have in mind. The looseness of working this way helps me focus on the “idea” rather than perfection. It’s a “vibes” stage that has incredible value. Don’t fear the starts and in-betweens!
