square enix finally replacing the ancient version of FF7 on steam is a positive thing in every way except that save data can't carry over.
i played that version as my first time playing FF7 and i wished that i had played basically any other version, it has a bunch of issues PSX doesn't.

finally watched the finale of CITY and wow it's a weird one. as someone who read the manga, the finale of CITY the animation is almost all new, totally unexpected stuff, presented in a unique way too (about half of it is a musical)

i'll live tweet my first playthrough of final fantasy ix. the first 3 hours are so good! the pacing is really solid and the game feels much more put-together than ffviii. ffix is giving big Chrono Cross but Great vibes. i really like V and VI, so the battle system going back to 4 chars is 👍👍👍

Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.
