Sober, kind and fully dressed. Adidas obsessed. Something of a shithouse. UTFR etc etc🇾🇪
English football is not without its issues though.

@yeswecantona.bsky.social routinely smuggles plastic bottle tops into an unnamed Premier League stadium.
Sunday’s Eredivisie match between Ajax and Groningen was abandoned in the sixth minute after supporters set off fireworks.

I detest Ruban Amorim’s brand of football, his philosophy and his habit of sacrificing club results for ego.

But I will never not celebrate a Manchester United win.

Today is a good day.

Recent history tells us Selhurst Park isn’t an easy place to go.

Watched the 2024 Young Offenders Christmas Special again yesterday - I completely missed this quote the first time round. 🤣
November 30, 2025 at 8:50 AM
Jamie Jackson asks questions in United press conferences like he gets passed the microphone, then someone gives him a piece of paper with a question written in a different language for him to read out.

It’s to Amorim’s credit that he’s so patient with him.

Utter gibberish a lot of the time.

Would you lose faith, if you had any in the first place, in the INEOS ‘project’ if they change manager in the next 12 months?

The amount of typos in my posts is actually criminal.

They don’t need to give a reason for upholding it you melon.

They’d only need to give a reason to retracting it.

I can genuinely see Monday being the start some grim results.

We don’t have the squad depth of tactical flexibility to cope with 2 1st team absentees - without Cunha & Sesko we were miles off.

It’ll soon be Amab & Mbuemo.

Can see us getting to February & talking about another season chalked off.

Is Sunday a free hit for Amorim?

Are we at that level of expectation where a loss at Selhurst Park isn’t a surprise?

* Presses play on the TOTD mailbag episode.

* First question from Joe Public is “do you think Amorim will change his system…..”

* Turns off immediately and deletes from downloaded episodes.

We’ve got an office competition where we all select a weekly fixture at random to predict the outcome.

I’ve got:

West Ham vs Liverpool

…this weekend and I have no idea where to go with it.
November 27, 2025 at 10:19 AM
Unfortunate timing.

He’s still had a good start, but cost us 2 points directly on Monday.

Plenty of his team mates played worse but he should have saved the goal. Onana style technique.
November 26, 2025 at 12:43 PM
If we had any other viable option, Patrick Dorgu should be sent out on loan.
November 26, 2025 at 12:32 PM
Aside from Arsenal on the opening day of the season, how many of the 20 games that we’ve lost under Amorim can you say we were unlucky, gave a good account of ourselves and deserved better?

I can only think of Arsenal. The rest we’ve just rolled over and had our tummies tickled.

Is that fair?
November 26, 2025 at 9:33 AM
18 points from 12 games is an average of 1.5 points a game.

1.5 points over a 38 game season equates to 57 points.

Last season, that would have put us in 9th. Outside of the European places.
November 25, 2025 at 6:35 PM
I keep forgetting Everton lost a player in the 12th minute for slapping his own team mate.

And we still lost.

I would say it’s as bad as it gets, but we’ve seen worse….. this season.
November 25, 2025 at 4:03 PM
Grimsby(a), Brentford(a) & Everton(h) are amongst the worst post-Fergie performances.

It’s not just that we’re inconsistent.

Nobody expects us to win every game. We are going to lose.

I think the scars of last season have run too deep. It’s muscle memory born out of fear.

Something needs to give
November 25, 2025 at 11:18 AM
United’s win rate this season is 38%.

After 13 games & 5 wins.

And we were told by the old charmer that we sacrificed results last season to concentrate on Europe.

Gaslighting.

I get that people don’t want another change, & I understand that.

But how you can defend that man is beyond me.
November 25, 2025 at 9:30 AM
Gone are the days of throwing the kitchen sink at opponents to try and salvage a win.

Taking risks. Overloading the opposition in defence.

It goes against the manager’s philosophy. And the club’s ’game model’ 😵‍💫 apparently.
November 25, 2025 at 8:04 AM
I loved Ole.

A lot of you didn’t, and I respect that.

But that’s the most fun I’ve had watching United since Fergie.

And that’s why I watch football. To have fun.

Mad that 6 defeats in 11 games was enough to lost him his job, given what’s happened since.

Anyway.
