The blue shiny (woven vinyl?) seats are on transit seem like such a liability. I'm slipping and sliding so much on a pretty smooth route, facing forward.

Unreal. Shameful.
I think everyone who designed and budgeted this should have to stand here on that far shoulder for 24 hours.

Did I miss something changing on this app? My feed is suddenly 80% hairy unclothed men I don't follow. What happened.

Has anybody coined "elbow licker" to refer to those that bend the knee to ostensible Canadian national interest yet?

Part of my "wind down" is often looking at small tractors and ride on mowers online. Look how cute this lil guy is!

I wonder how many of us spend our 20s looking for our "other half" - people that complete us - in a belief that we are insufficient.

Something that perplexes me is the perceived utility of "lowballing" social change

Fun fact: I learned to ride a bike at 11, later than most if not all my siblings. I named my bike Trigger, after Roy Rogers horse.

I dont see a ton of value in insisting "I was born this way", but nature or nurture, I never stood a chance. 😳

I seriously can't reccomend relationship counseling with the right professional enough. It really helps establish and celebrate what is working well, and find words for what isn't. Don't wait until the stuckness is significant!
Sara Warkentin is the absolute best, and seemingly unflappable.

I don't think I've ever loved myself or my life this much. I don't think I've ever valued and been so valued by my community.
I don't think I've ever felt such intense sorrow!
I'm very glad to be feeling.

Incredibly irresponsible for media to report on the officer-to-population ratio - which cops constantly use to demand more funding - without providing context that there is NO EVIDENCE that increased policing leads to improved safety for all. It's just regurgitating PR.

Whether Ben Carr likes it or not, the Communist Party of Canada will remain in this struggle for more popular democracy, as we have unflaggingly for generations. No aspersions can revise that record, ...

When drinking was robbing my life of joy, I saw any suggestion to that effect as a threat to the little pockets of peace it seemed cracking open a beer after work afforded me. Having to drug yourself to begin to contemplate the prospect of facing tomorrow's work is so unacceptable, and so accepted.
