the quote marks are bc "accidentally" in this case means that i finished the previous book i was working on and needed somewhere to put my bookmark so that i wouldn't forget it and what better place than in chapter one (or two) of a new book???

so i FINALLY got the Divine Comedy (Ciardi version, because the Longfellow one is FOUL) & have dived in...
...and because i saw "the house that jack built" long before reading this, i have my FAVOURITE KIND of back-to-front context to imbibe, along with another favourite of mine: Biblical Allusions

my betas and typo hunters ALWAYS have to pull me up because of time discrepancies (eg. "good morning" instead of "good afternoon") because quite frankly i never know what time of day it is in real life, let alone my books

praying peeps please spend some of your praying time on the Vic bushfires in general and Suzannah’s house in particular
In personal news, the beautiful home my parents built is being threatened by bushfires and we've been evacuated since Saturday. Today or tomorrow we could lose it forever. If you're the praying type, please pray for our home & neighbours.
