after an hour of watching THE HOME — Pete Davidson's horror movie about a spooky retirement home — I'd kinda given up on things. 10 minutes later it pivoted to become louder, dumber, and absolutely nuts. the rare time a movie pulls it out in the 4th quarter like this. recommended.

last night at the bar i heard a dude explaining that 28 DAYS LATER is his favorite movie ever. not horror movie, or zombie movie, but favorite movie, period. i left pretty quickly after that because my mind was racing with unasked for follow-up questions that would've prolly come off as offensive.
