💼 Business investment is down 12–18% since #Brexit.
Firms froze or cancelled projects for years amid prolonged uncertainty.
That’s a massive drag on future growth.

Why all the talk about leadership challenges misses the point that the biggest problem facing this Government is not just a lack of leadership but a lack of clear ideas about what a Labour Government is actually for

Until that changes, the question of who sits in No 10 will remain a hollow one.
Labour's Biggest Problem Is Not a Lack of Leadership but a Lack of Ideas
Until Keir Starmer's party decides what it really stands for, the question of who leads them will remain a hollow one, argues Adam Bienkov

A simple rule of thumb: Any politician who proclaims to be pro-EU while avoiding supporting re-entry to the Single Market is afraid of mentioning Freedom of Movement. Many have been playing that game for 10 years, and pro-EU voters are wise to it. Anything without Freedom of Movement is still Brexit

The idea that a country with anemic growth could voluntarily take this sort of economic hit without severe consequences was outrageous. The lying scum who promoted Brexit purely for their own selfish benefit, have done terrible harm to our country.
🚨📉 Major new paper by Stanford professor Nick Bloom and coauthors.

They find Brexit has:

⬇️ Reduced UK GDP by 6-8%

⬇️ Reduced investment by 12-18%

⬇️ Reduced employment by 3-4%

⬇️ Reduced productivity by 3-4%

Should Gibb be sacked? yes, obviously. He's an abomination of basic journalistic standards. His GB News channel spreads conspiracy theory & disinformation. His Jewish Chronicle newspaper spreads invented stories. He is plainly trying to undermine the BBC so it's as bad as everything else he touches.
