Am 27. November 1945 starb Georg Scholz, den die französische Verwaltung kurz zuvor zum Bürgermeister von Waldkirch ernannt hatte.
1933 war er von den Nazis entlassen worden und nach Waldkirch gezogen. 1937 waren einige seiner Werke als "entartet" beschlagnahmt worden. 🧵
