Just wanted to add another voice saying "great article"! I really enjoy the game but I think this is extremely valid criticism. Like, if we're going to try and seriously tackle things like Prometheus' torment, maybe it shouldn't be waved off by the majority of the characters?

Nice! The early death was a downer at first, but then I realized I could just make a fresh character and keep the same NPCs, holdings market, etc, and that really got things going?

surprisingly hard question, like, i had to hack a system together last week to run something dnd-like for a group with a complete newbie

as it is, for trad fantasy games something like maze rats is pretty intuitive; for non-trad, newbies tend to get mothership pretty quickly if they've seen alien
