Day 34 of my #365project. Today was one of those. Didn’t get the job I wanted with the benefits I need. So #CatnamedYoda will continue to be my coworker. Some sad family news adding to the pile. Going to read a bit and hope tomorrow is a better day. Breathing deeply. We will survive.

Day 33 of my #365project. Thinking of everyone who has been protesting since the beginning. We knew. We know. Trump and Epstein will be linked forever together. They are one and the same.

People all over Portland, Oregon were impacted by the chemical warfare deployed by the feds tonight. Here’s a thread of some Portlanders experiences who weren’t even at the protest:
Lots and lots of teargas and various other munitions. People yelling for medics. Ambulance came for one person already and there was a brutal arrest amidst all of this

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.

The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.

Happy Black History Month.

KC Tenants does not miss. Congrats on another major win!
The agreement includes two-year lease agreements, reductions in rent, eviction protections and a schedule for major repairs to be completed by March. Union members say the agreement meets key demands, and allows them to end the strike and resume paying rent in February.
Raytown tenant union ends rent strike after agreement with landlord: 'a monumental victory'
Tenants at Bowen Tower Apartments began withholding rent last October. An agreement with the California-based landlord now includes lower rent and utility rates, and commitments to fix longstanding problems in the building.

A few hundred people arrived to the Portland ICE facility a few hours ago, marching in remembrance of all killed at the hands of ICE. The energy was high, for over an hour the feds would randomly shoot pepper balls. And then they came out and heavily gassed

1. You may have seen this image of Black men voting during Reconstruction, and assumed it is a depiction of voting after the passage of the 15th Amendment (which outlaws denying the right to vote based on race).
