Texas passed their extreme gerrymandered maps, their efforts to steal the 2026 midterms must be neutralized. CA is responding though we must educate our electorate. We don't cheat, we do it Democratically!🗽

This isn't going to be cheap & Nov is 3 months away.

If you're able, please support!

Meanwhile, hardworking, tax paying immigrants are abused and illegally snatched by Trump’s ICE daily. This is an insane time. Please stand up for your community. That includes Hispanic/Latino members. Let’s deport the Sinaloa Cartel family instead

Reminder that DEA agent Kiki Camarena was tortured and murdered by the Sinaloa drug cartel. Same cartel Trump rolled out a red carpet for, giving special escort across the border to 17 family members. They DON’T deserve our protection! #Voices4Victory #ProudBlue

So, the grifter extraordinaire, sexual predator, convicted felon, and liar who supports heroin-addled RFK Jr.’s dangerous, unscientific propaganda just got double vaxxed.
Show this to every MAGA fool who claims vaccines aren’t safe.

Portland Frogman used “spooky” hands and hip thrusts to make ICE agents retreat. Under that costume are huge muscles, watch video. An ICE asshole sprayed pepper spray into the air vent but Frogman continued in his costume another hour. Hero #Voices4Victory #ProudBlue

Approximately 60% of those deported were U.S. citizens, including American-born Latinos and Mexican Americans. The deportations were often done without due process and have been described as a form of ethnic cleansing due to their racial basis and disregard for citizenship. /7

Mexican Americans were often pressured into “voluntarily” leaving or were forced onto trains or ships bound for Mexico. Families were separated, and many deportees lost their property and faced severe economic hardship in Mexico. This had a lasting impact on generational wealth. /6

Blaming Mexican immigrants for job losses during the Great Depression, local and federal authorities implemented programs aimed at removing them to create jobs for “real Americans.” Raids were conducted on private homes and public spaces with “the logistics of full-scale paramilitary operations.” /5

Some 500,000 Mexicans entered the U.S. during the 1920s. Businesses wanted the workers, but tensions in local communities increased. When the stock market crashed in 1929, those tensions reached a boiling point. Hoover called for deportations in his first State of the Union Address in 1930. /4

Between 1929 and 1936, as many as 2 million people of Mexican descent were repatriated or deported to Mexico. The Mexican Repatriation program was presented as a means of opening up jobs for Americans but was actually driven by nativist sentiment. /1

Donald Trump just got a COVID booster at Walter Reed, per the White House physician.

Let’s be clear this is the same guy who downplayed the virus, mocked masks, and turned lifesaving vaccines into a political wedge that cost hundreds of thousands of lives.

What can archaeological finds tell us about climate change? A lot, in the right hands. MacArthur genius Kristina Douglass is "investigating how past human societies and environments co-evolved and adapted to climate variability" on Madagascar.

The Union suffered heavy losses, and the 54th Regiment was hit hardest. Confederate General Johnson Hagood returned the bodies of other Union officers but left Shaw’s for burial in a mass grave with the black soldiers. Shaw’s family saw it as an honor that he was buried with his men. /5

A free press doesn’t exist when reporters are thrown into unmarked vans for doing their jobs.

This is how democracy continues to die: one vanished truth-teller at a time.

Except, we won’t be silent. We will fight back. We will shout from the rooftops.

A Latino man was already inside. Witnesses say she was accused of “obstruction.” Her response? “I didn’t obstruct.”

The agents then sped off, clipping a car, blowing through a red light, nearly hitting a CTA bus.

This was a kidnapping in broad daylight by armed thugs targeting a journalist.
