My first book is out! And you can download it for free for the next 4 weeks. It's on knowing what it is like to do something (what kind of knowledge is this, how do we acquire it, and when if ever can we share it with other people). #philsky #philosophy #epistemology doi.org/10.1017/9781...

Our new podcast episode on #HoPWaG is the first of a mini-series on the Daoist classic, the Zhuangzi! We start by asking in what sense this is a "skeptical" work.

I'm happy to report that I've been promoted to Associate Professor!

A big thanks to my referees for their time in reviewing my work, to many different colleagues at La Trobe for their support, and to the many great mentors in philosophy I've had over the years.

The long-running ideological war on libraries, education, and government workers is not separate from AI boosterism. It is the same ideological war on human knowledge and expertise. In some cases AI is being used to directly supercharge this effort:

Pleased to see that this is out because it tackles a question that keeps us all up at night: if we're looking after 100 kids, we're certain 99 of them did something wrong, and we seem to have individualised evidence to believe each kid is guilty, what do we do?
