Every once in a while, I see people wonder why, out of all of the available Pokémon to choose, Poliwhirl was so often shown front and center. Especially in the case of Pokémon's marketing in America.

the worst trend in female character design for anthropomorphic characters in media has to be the absolute refusal to give women snouts.

gacha games and fortnite are especially egregious with this. come on. just a bit of a snout. it's not hard, people. give the wolf girl a snout. and DON'T squish it

Oh my goodness now I'm being haunted by another one of them. I had this Wild Republic blue and hot pink giraffe named Ursula, and I brought her with me so many places.

I'm not super keen on strict routines, but when the things I regularly do get disrupted, it takes so long to adjust, and I feel like I've been in a constant state of readjustment for an entire year on my family's whims.

If there's gonna be change, I'd prefer it on my own terms.

To be honest, the worst part about my upcoming move isn't the process itself but the whole year of uncertainty and constant flip-flopping of plans.

I thought we were moving last year, until my sibling wanted to stay, and then I thought we were staying, until they didn't want to anymore.

Like, there were so many cool ones that are just... gone now. I had a tiny turtle who I could tuck its limbs into its shell. A pink Webkinz dragon that was so soft and fun to hold. And more.

It's embarrassing to say, but I've mourned those plushies for longer than I have for some family members.

The more time goes on, I keep remembering more plushies I used to have that got lost in a move.

Frankly, the worst time to have lost them, given that I was 12 and suffering from said move and also puberty and feelings of depression and extreme social isolation.
