aditionally with all the birthmarks and moles and other natural skin markings this year it feels notable to me that the wife here doesn't have any. i'm tempted to go back and check for marks on every character that is (or was) definitely human and every character that is definitely not.

Look up breathing issues in brachiocephalic breeds. Look up skin issues in hairless breeds. Look up manx syndrome & Scottish fold osteochondrodysplasia in cats.
If you didn't know then, you didn't know. The animal is already here, just give it a good life. But don't support these breeds again!

Breeding to extremes or for ultimately harmful mutations in animals should be illegal. Breeding modern pugs/persians/brachiocephalic animals, scottish folds, manxes, hairless animals, etc. should all be illegal.

it's okay to want people to like your oc. validation and praise are very human needs. but here's the thing: if you don't love the shit out of your oc first- i mean you gotta be your oc's first and most important fan, to an almost unhinged degree- it's gonna be very hard for anyone else to do so
