If you claim to love someone who collects toys or watches cartoons or does something else "for kids" but want them to grow up and change the "childish" behavior/hobbies/interests you don't really love them, you love an idea of them, a version of them you've created and decided is better.

I blame this year’s depression on the government, the loss of three family members, and that one edit of GOTG3 to creep by Radiohead where Rocket’s scream is matched up to Thom Yorke’s.
