I condemn violence of any kind. This terrible attack on the Jewish community in Australia is being reported as anti-Semitism.
Does no-one consider that this has been a reaction to the persecution of the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and the continued policies of the Israeli Government.

I read this article advocating pruning grapevines in December. Living in North Norfolk UK, I wouldn't advocate it for my 150 vines. Earlier pruning means earlier budburst and there is still a chance of frost in March which would kill the openingbuds. I found the vines don't start pushing sap 1/2

Why don't people understand that a tariff(=tax) on foreign goods is levied on companies to stop them buying those goods abroad more cheaply than they can buy them from manufacturers in their own country in an attempt to support home-country manufacturers/industries.
