The use of whitespace by newspapers is fascinating. Choosing how to spend column-inches is a really unique editorial statement.

Choosing nothing when the page could be filled with ads or pictures or text feels like a canary in a coal mine.

Part of me feels like Bluesky is implementing censorship (no NSFW content in Florida, Arizona, Texas, Wyoming, due to new “decency” laws) because they want to force the network and protocol to decentralize.

Everyone is enjoying making bsky the new Twitter, but that’s not the long-term goal.

iOS 26 users, play a video in the Photos app. Do other things. Does it keep playing? I’ve found I have to pause the video to stop it. It will literally play over any audio.
