Former Washington Post journalists have launched a GoFundMe to help repatriate fired staff members who are effectively stranded in foreign countries.

One of the richest men in the world fired them from the paper and didn’t even pay to ensure they got home.

Trump’s press secretary, Caroline Leavitt: “The White House can’t guarantee that ICE agents won’t be around polling places” in 2026.

I hope we are all getting ready to counter Trump’s attempt to put into place a Republican dictatorship.

Zero compromises with fascists. None. Never. Nada.
These fucking monsters.
"...his memory was so jumbled after a beating by immigration officers that he initially could not remember he had a daughter and still struggles to recall treasured moments like the night he taught her to dance."
ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.”

What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.

Stingy fuckers.

Everything that is wrong with politics evident right here. Politicians own flush expense accounts barely register a peep from constituents but attack the poorest and most scapegoated, sure!

No. However, the only way to defeat tyrants (private and public) is to resist

Zelensky: Ukrainian intelligence uncovered a $12 trillion dollar deal between Russia and the US, which Putin proposed to Trump.

Now, Trump declaring that he’s giving “both sides” 4 months to end “the war” (aka Russian war against Ukraine). The “or else” is likely US withdrawal of aid to Ukraine

Our worse-than-useless Congressperson in Hawaii - Ed Case - voted for the SAVE Act.

Replace Ed Case.

Vote for #DellaAuBelatti for Hawaii Congressional Distriction #1
Congress failed to pass the SAVE Act last year for good reason: it’s an anti-voter bill. But now lawmakers have revived it despite overwhelming public opposition. Tell Congress to reject the SAVE Act: bit.ly/4tmVIor

I don’t care about the party. Each election is to keep the worse party out.

That obviously is not good enough but if we don’t like it, we need to organize enough people so we can build a new system

I don't know, but it would be better than having the GOP in there doing 100% of Trump's dirty work.

The point of a majority would be that the GOP would not hold it and thus further enable Trump's fascism.

Good enough? I think so.

Kind of a win-win situation for the side of justice, then, huh?

It's becoming clear that fighting back - and fighting back hard - is the only thing that will defeat Trumpism and therefore fascism in the U.S.

It recalls the fundamental research finding that women who fight back against men assaulting them stand a better chance of getting away and staying alive.

Given how Republicans overwhelmingly support Trump on key issues (from immigration to invading Greenland to the cost of living), and everyone else overwhelmingly opposes him, it's no surprise that Trump's strategy is for a Republican take over the 2026 elections.

Crucial listen: Our movements are in a pivotal moment right now. We can either acquiesce to the co-optation of our demands for true equality between people classified (by the state) as "citizens" and "migrants" or keep fighting!

Remember: Fascists only back down when we fight back!
