so much of what’s happening with AI right now is preying on children whether it’s generating pornography of them, grooming behaviour from chat bots, or chat gpt demolishing their learning and research skills. this has to be at the forefront of the conversation.

my neighbor (LA) has a brain disease and will be moving out of country for care dec 28th. i’m trying to find her pets fosters or a new forever home. please help me find June (cat, 8 yrs, no teeth/eats wet food, good w/dogs) and Baby (8 yrs, friendly w/everyone: dogs, kids & cats, neutered) homes!

As much as the ending saddened me, I can’t think of anything else that comes close to being as perfect or poignant, regardless of it being categorized as middle-grade. Finishing it at age 14/15, it made perfect sense to me
