We don’t spend enough time discussing how the entire MAGA movement is kept afloat by the constant threats of stochastic terrorism orchestrated by the president of the United States.

Congress, the courts, much of the media … all kept in line by the mob boss and his army of anonymous goons.

The rich and powerful don’t get their wages garnished when they default on a loan. They declare bankruptcy and end up paying pennies on the dollar, if anything. Like Trump did many, many times.

Much of the opposition was about tourism; as a sometimes visitor to NYC, the place is so much nicer with less traffic. I am more prone to visit (and to linger and buy stuff) when I don't have to constantly risk a painful death from gridlocked cars in crosswalks jockeying for position.
Year 1 data on congestion pricing in Manhattan…

* Vehicle traffic: -11%
* Foot traffic: +3.4%
* Storefront vacancy: -0.9%
* Pollution: -22%
* Revenue for mass transit: $548M

So YES this has been a huge success.

We should have extremely high standards of personal conduct for Presidents.

The lowest bar one could ever imagine for any job is: not a serial pedophile. And Trump can’t even clear that!!

NEW: Billions of prescriptions for generic drugs are filled in the U.S. annually.

The FDA reports testing only a few dozen of them every year, and it has largely dismissed warnings about contaminants, irregularities and other issues.

Here’s what we found when we did our own testing:

Karoline Leavitt’s White House briefings aren’t just spin – they reflect what George Orwell warned about: lies divorced from reality, and the use of “doublethink” to have a word (like “transparency”) mean just the opposite. A historian who studies Orwell explains:

Karoline Leavitt’s White House briefing doublethink is straight out of Orwell’s ‘1984’
A historian analyzes how White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s claims about her boss and his administration are ‘doublespeak’ straight out of the pages of George Orwell’s ‘1984.’

Seems like running away from a problem instead of meeting it head on. These are the people in charge of our military and sending our sons and daughters into harm’s way?
Widmar responded that they should consult with their legal adviser if they’re unsure, the sources said. But ultimately, if they determine that an order is illegal, they should consider requesting retirement.
