I am in the process of replacing the switches and plug sockets with brushed gold. I have a new overhead light fixture on the way which is also gold. I do enjoy the green gold combo.

People want safety, peace, health and community and no tech oligarch is interested in helping there so we get this daily deluge of farcical makebelieve problems that some app or automation must solve and it is so boring. There's a crash coming and it's going to sting.

I've def told this before (@frankiewhelan.bsky.social knows) but I was at a talk by the CEO of a drone delivery company in 2019 and his big prediction was that new homes wouldn't include kitchens because "it's a waste of space" and I always think of it when he see these dork ass predictions on AI.

Do people watch Graham Norton? I tend to watch artistic films, mainly French films because of the artistic expression. This just seems like entertainment for lesser minds, maybe try reading novels. Perhaps Russian literature like Tolstoy?
