I mean very obviously Hegseth should resign, and if it were a Democratic administration this would be quickly be a consensus position.

“Those nasty Canadians are ripping us off and are controlled by Mexican cartels. They’re poisoning us with fentanyl and need to become the 51st state or they will pay a high price” is a belief that literally ZERO Americans had six weeks ago. It’s entirely invented from scratch.

Elon Musk called Social Security a Ponzi scheme. He has no sense of what life is like for normal people.

Social Security is NOT a Ponzi scheme. It’s a commitment to ensuring our elders can retire with dignity.

It’s been a long day, but in short, bullies ain’t shit! I don’t care what title you hold! This isn’t some long gone reality tv show or failed casino; it is war!

How dare a draft dodging dumb dupe humiliate an ally & berate a brave man who has actually been on a battlefield for his people?!

“Letting a robot structure your argument, or flatten your style by removing the quirky elements, is dangerous,” writes Margaret Renkl. “It’s a streamlined way to flatten the human mind, to homogenize human thought.”

We know who we are, at least in part, by finding the words — messy, imprecise, unexpected — to tell others, and ourselves, how we see the world.

DOGE recommended firing workers at:

-FAA, which oversees SpaceX

-USAID, which probed Starlink

-CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X.

"Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.

We can help shift the tide! Wisconsin must have fair electoral maps going forward.

Answer Musk’s money with a blizzard of small donations. Give Musk the finger and support Judge Susan Crawford for the open WI Supreme Court seat. Our democracy depends on it.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Public lands require urgent and vigorous public defense. Once degraded and spoiled, they will never be the same again. The decimation of the National Park Service and Forest Service staffing is a national emergency.
