Yesterday I made “ranch” out of Greek yogurt, dill, and a pinch of garlic salt.

My kiddo loved it and ate ALL of his broccoli and ranch. I still can’t believe it worked. 😩

Where has all the leadership gone? If not for university presidents, law firm managing partners, and corporate chief executives standing up against bullies, who then will step up for the first amendment? The
"suspending indefinitely" of Jimmy Kimmel immediately after the Chairman of the FCC's aggressive yet hollow threatening of the Disney Company is yet another example of out-of-control intimidation. Maybe the Constitution should have said, "Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, except in one's political or financial self-interest." By-the-way, for the record, this ex-CEO finds Jimmy Kimmel very talented and funny.

The lack of education in this country is going to kill us all. It’s very telling that so many people think affirmative action, DEI policies, affordable healthcare and even government assistance ONLY benefited Black people.

Still very salty. I’ve never been soured on something I used to love the way that I’ve been soured on Star Wars in general after the way Disney treated The Acolyte and the fans the liked it.

I would’ve watched Skeleton Crew if Disney hadn’t gone out of their way to cancel The Acolyte while those of us who were big fans were clearly having so much fun with it.

I still feel like Disney signaled to me that I’m not valued the same as other Star Wars fans & I got the message loud & clear.

Interesting Nielsen TV data for Disney+ shows. Skeleton Crew absolutely deserved better, but Wild to see how Acolyte topped a few Marvel shows (including Daredevil didn’t garner enough views to even MAKE this graph) and yet….

You can blame the “streaming bubble” as the reason the acolyte was canceled but choosing that show out of all the others to explicitly cancel still points to racism. They do not see shows with poc as valuable.
