At this point, if Ontarians don't start pushing back, ON will be sold off piece by piece under the Ford government. The damage from this level of corruption and short-term greed will linger for decades, and recovering from the destruction being set in motion now will not be easy #ONPoli #ONFightBack

What did Doug Ford steal from you yesterday? Oh nothing. Just your Provincial Parks. His developer friends already have all the unprotected land locked up. So, they had to go. You understand yet? Doug Ford does not work for you. #onpoli #FordFailedOntario

Doug Ford thinks teaching English, French, history, social studies, civics and phys-ed is a “ radical left-wing wacko” idea. It's no wonder our education system is underfunded.

In 2025, Ford spent a record $112 million taxpayer dollars on ads promoting himself.

For $30 million, he could have fixed the Ontario Science Centre's roof and kept it open for our children.

Jamil Jivani was fired from Bell Media for extremist and discriminatory views. He quit Doug Ford because he opposed Ford's safety measures during the height of COVID. In his Durham victory speech, he called Bell and Ford, "liberal elitists".

The asshole that is Jivani is best friends with 🇺🇸 VPOTUS JD Vance. Literally best friends. Went to uni together, Jivani crashed at Vance’s home when a relationship went south.

IOW, the psychopathic 🇺🇸 admin has a mole in the Canadian federal Conservative Party.

Take a moment with that.

Is that what they mean by brand consistency?

🇨🇦 FORD'S CONTRACT TEAR-UP OFFENDS RULE OF LAW 🇨🇦

You know those parking garage signs claiming no liability? That is the new vibe at Queen's Park. The "Open for Business" premier is rewriting the rules.

The Globe Editorial Board reports.

2/7 Since taking office, the Ford government has habitually added clauses to bills to ward off legal fallout.

It is not exactly a "get-out-of-jail-free" card, but it is close.

From the Greenbelt to speed cameras, the government ensures contracts can be broken without penalty.
December 3, 2025 at 5:51 PM
3/7 The irony is rich.

This government erected "Open for Business" signs across Ontario. The Editorial Board suggests a fine print update:

"Rules and contracts may be changed in the government’s favour."

Without contract certainty, the free market foundation crumbles.
December 3, 2025 at 5:51 PM
4/7 The tactic reached a grim peak with bike lanes.

The bill specified the government could not be held responsible for resulting deaths or injuries.

During the Greenbelt saga, it even shielded itself from court awards if employees "acted in bad faith."
December 3, 2025 at 5:50 PM
5/7 The speed camera ban is particularly dizzying.

Ford is unwinding his own 2019 legislation that allowed them.

He calls them a cash-grab, prioritizing law-breaking drivers while doing an end-run around the legal consequences of breaking contracts with camera providers.
December 3, 2025 at 5:50 PM
6/7 Democracy allows governments to change course. It doesn't usually allow them to stiff contractors without penalty.

"The system can’t function if governments arbitrarily change the rules from one day to the next."

Rushed bills and curtailed public input only deepen the concern.
December 3, 2025 at 5:50 PM
7/7 Contract law isn't sexy, but it is the bedrock of trust.

If agreements are merely suggestions to be legislated away when convenient, "Open for Business" becomes a warning label rather than a welcome mat.

All on purpose! How is this allowed?! How is there no oversight. How are we just standing by while Conservative Premiers kill healthcare! Death to everything that we rely on daily. How is it that the PM cannot do anything to help us. How can this underfunding continue. We NEED checks and balances!!!
Auditor General:

“From training new doctors to connecting them with patients, the Ontario government’s lack of planning has cost the province badly needed primary care resources…”

“Every province and territory in Canada, except Ontario, has a centralized physician recruitment model…”
