George RR straight kicked my ass. Friend suggested Thrones and I immediately fell in love with his writing. His character development was so deep, and then he killed everyone I cared about. I put the book down for months. Came back of course.

Wow Connor, love this. I am a generation older, so my realization of the power of fiction (and the stamp on my 12y/o brain) was King’s The Stand. As a young adult I was desperate in an airport and picked up Stephenson’s Cryptonomicon. Devoured Stephenson’s catalog immediately and since then.

Nationwide average prices for industrial customers are slightly less than half of residential prices. That's before special negotiated discounts for the largest loads. We pay double or more, in other words.
