For extra damage: specifically request a team lead. Our place was split into lead agents and team leads, the TLs were not supposed to be taking supe calls, but would if they were adamant enough. Do this. They have other important shit to do and management will notice more if it doesn't get done.

Any call that is disconnected on their side is also automatically flagged for manual review in most places. The key is to eat up as many resources as possible!

My advice, as a former call center supervisor, is to fish for ways to escalate your call to a supervisor. Upper management HATES when the supe call cue is long. We used to be in perpetual callback hell back where I worked and they constantly devoted extra resources to combating it.

Spoke to my source familiar with internal workings at Mastercard. The holiday call campaign re payment processor censorship is working, there is a lot of pressure being felt from your calls. This is resulting in increased response times at a core moment for Mastercard due to the holiday season

When I was a kid Ma was known for her desserts. Her Thanksgiving job was several pies, fruit and meat, all with homemade crust. One year her crusts were ruined in a baking accident and she had to use frozen store bought. Did 10-year-old me announce that fact to the whole family? I sure did.

Ric: Noo don’t worry, fandom people are the last to see you as out of place. Also the vibes are really chill, you won’t bother anyone! -booth setting up time- Kind Stranger: Excuse me; I’ve participated in the interest check for your fanbook! Can I buy one? Ric: Oh. Of course! Ric (handing the book out): thank you for your interest- Kind Stranger (reaching into their clear pouch): Oh I also brought these... You can use them for display decorating Ric (eyes wide staring at what's coming out of the bag): ?!! (+Korean noises) Star Trek itty bittys Hallmark plush of TOS Kirk, Spock and Uhura are laid out. Drawn cute and emphasized. Kind Stranger: I can see this table well from my seat so, I’ll come back to pick them up after! [Breaking news! Kind stranger comes and drops off their kids on my table] Ric: (coming around the table to look at them properly) Ric: so cute.... (happy) My wife: (Having a good time taking pictures of me decorating) Ric: (Also setting up my KSU bear plushies under the OG crew plush dolls) *since the dolls aren’t mine, my hands were shaking whenever I was moving them Ric: (I can’t believe they just left these with me...) (These guys are probably impossible to get in S.Korea right now...) (I hope no one takes them!? because they are rare items..) (Happy but panic!!!) (Another person coming over to tell me something nice?!) *2nd year of making a KSU fanbook and launching it on Oct.* -surprise gathering- Ric: Omg hello! Khan/Bones shippers: Hey long time no see! Top Spock shipper (Originally came here to buy marvel doujinshi): Said hi to everyone, picked up my book too, and then left...! Met all of them before the S.Korean presidential impeachment this year, talked about fandom and politics back then. Now seeing each other under better circumstances. *The third member of the above bottom bones group was missing on this tragic day of non-planned meet up* As the 2.5D fan event slowly draws to a close... The TOS crew doll owner came to pick them up! Kind Stranger: Wah the deco is so nicely done~ I asked if they’ve read my last KSU fanbook and they said they weren’t sure if that one was for sale too so I offered one for free as a thank you for lending me the doll plushies for a day! Ric (Giving a fanbook): Please take it! Kind Stranger (pleasantly shocked): Ah for real? -in my head- The dolls are fully humanized; AOS Uhura, Spock and Kirk with little bear ears; facing away from the camera, looking up to the TOS versions of them leaving in a clear pouch. Each counterpart waving/showing goodbye in their own way. Ric (imaginary gross sobbing): The original crew back on their clear-pouch starship-shuttle going back after meeting (sniff) my guys... (sniff) My inner otaku crying, while thinking about them (+Korean noises) -in real life- Ric, Kind Stranger (both nodding, bowing to each other farewell repeatedly) Ric: Thank you again! Kind Stranger: Thank you, get home safe! - My wife: Well done my little artist! Ric: Arhnnngh! That was so wholesome!!!!
