Hey @mark-carney.bsky.social, why exactly are we rolling over on the DST? Why reward orange hitlers hissy fit like that? I think it’s clear most Canadians don’t want to give him an inch. You keep saying we’re not for sale. We negotiate on our terms. So PROVE IT.

I just updated the CO2 graph on NASA's climate dashboard. May was the 4th month in a row to set a new record for the highest CO2 ever measured.
This year's peak CO2 will be ~4 ppm higher than last year.
We're rapidly going in the wrong direction.

Let’s be clear — the “War on the Car” populist narrative attacking any attempts, however small, to add more CHOICE in how to get around cities, has always been bullshit.
But there absolutely should be a “war” on car DEPENDENCY.
How can MORE CHOICE, with proven benefits for all, possibly be bad?

FACT: The more people choosing to walk, bike & take public transit to get around cities, the better cities work for EVERYONE, including DRIVERS.
