I feel like someone needs to show Trump a map without the Mercator projection distortion… Greenland isn’t as big as he thinks!

We need to remove 10 billion tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere every year just to limit global heating to 1.7 degrees… and that’s the best case scenario?! www.theguardian.com/environment/...

The amazing research article "The 2025 state of the climate report: a planet on the brink" isn't getting enough notice, so I made a little video with the summary of key findings from the paper.

If it's too fast at times, just pause and read.

Stephen Colbert tonight is also a must-watch on Kimmel’s firing (and the gutless corporations and people who did it, and why) as part of Trump’s blatant slashing of Freedom Of Speech (and any criticism or dissent) in the United States. Please watch and share. #Kimmel #Colbert #Trump

Hey, @mark-carney.bsky.social can you please fix our embarrassingly broken parole system? Our police spend way too much time re-arresting the same people over and over. Enough already. #guelph #canpoli www.guelphpolice.ca/en/high-risk...

Shameful. Apparently Canada IS for sale.

Hey @mark-carney.bsky.social, why exactly are we rolling over on the DST? Why reward orange hitlers hissy fit like that? I think it’s clear most Canadians don’t want to give him an inch. You keep saying we’re not for sale. We negotiate on our terms. So PROVE IT.

I just updated the CO2 graph on NASA's climate dashboard. May was the 4th month in a row to set a new record for the highest CO2 ever measured.

This year's peak CO2 will be ~4 ppm higher than last year.

We're rapidly going in the wrong direction.

Let’s be clear — the “War on the Car” populist narrative attacking any attempts, however small, to add more CHOICE in how to get around cities, has always been bullshit.

But there absolutely should be a “war” on car DEPENDENCY.

How can MORE CHOICE, with proven benefits for all, possibly be bad?
FACT: The more people choosing to walk, bike & take public transit to get around cities, the better cities work for EVERYONE, including DRIVERS.

Anyone claiming that less car dependency is a “war on cars” doesn’t understand how cities (or geometry) work.

It’s time we tell #TheTruthAboutTraffic.

This iconic Fabian Todorovic cartoon is still one of the best I’ve seen at illustrating the remarkable amount of space we surrender to cars, leaving little space left for everyone and everything else. The text added later makes the bonus point that many drivers still manage to complain about it.

As long as there are cars everywhere, there should be bollards. Everywhere.
For the first time in history, we can proudly show you a DOUBLE German bollarding. This has NEVER been seen before so congratulations to us.
