Returned from night out to find my kitchen covered in post-baking disarray AND philosophy books. According to my emotional teenager Plato & Socrates were having a chill time in Symposium then Plato became angry/serious in Republic because the state killed his best friend

I loved Anna Chilvers’ strange and wonderful Tainted Love (and it’s fab cover). Can’t wait to see what she has cooked up next.
Astonishing debut novel. Light but perfect prose. Characters that feel real even as they inhabit three very different alternate realities. Bucket loads of pathos. A hard & confronting read in many places but still a celebration of survival, life and love. 10/10

There are a few problems with Senile Satan’s post. The biggest is that he’s deploying troops to the Miracle Mile shopping center in Chicago. There’s no such thing. There’s one in LA and one in NY.

Gibb needs to be removed, he has never worked for us at the BBC he has worked for outside influences, with close ties to the right and Israel. When BBC staff are repeatedly confirming his 'institutional bias' and asking for his removal, we should listen.

I put all extra chicken eggs on a table with a sign, saying, "Take if you need them." I'm going to prepare my land to plant a community garden on the bottom acre of my property. People can come and plant/ pick what they need. You can't believe how much citrus falls to the ground and rots.
