I can't get over the counting of bullet holes. I know that as a Black woman, I don't get to be incredulous or disbelieving. I'm supposed to be jaded. After all, Sandy Hook and Uvalde didn't move them.

Still, I'm shocked. Disgusted. And angry.

And no, they are not monsters, actually. They are men.

Also, the primary purpose of law enforcement body cams, functionally speaking, will always be the surveillance and criminalization of members of the public, not law enforcement themselves. Extraordinary exceptions confuse people about this.

I need people who were wrong about everything to actually look back and recognize that there was a reason they were wrong and maybe they need to update their understanding of the world.

Otherwise they don't really think they were wrong.
