I’d love to see a boatload of solar panels installed around line 1 to offset some of the line 1 operating costs.

That’s one way we can reduce operating costs without a fare increase.

Ana Bailão has been fighting for housing forever. She got basement suites & laneway homes through Council before @moreneighboursto.bsky.social even existed. She worked with Tory and Perks to legalize rooming houses citywide. Build Canada Homes has a huge amount of work ahead. She is a great choice.

Councillor Troster and MPP McKenney are right to call out the Ford government's unsubstantiated decision to close the consumption and treatment site at SWCHC. That choice has made the entire community less safe.
McKenney, Troster: Tory ideology created an overdose crisis in Ottawa's Chinatown
Housing, addiction treatment, outreach services, mental health resources and harm reduction are needed to tackle the current crisis.

Good morning! I'm in Uganda to visit family and friends.

But depending on your perspective, don't worry or I'm sorry: I'll be back by the end of the month.

See you soon, NYC.

I have seen some (racist) rumblings online about Ottawa’s new housing project designed for asylum seekers, suggesting that newcomers are being prioritized over “local” people experiencing homelessness.

First of all, unless you are Indigenous, you or your family came from somewhere else.
