Another plane crash?

A small plane that was headed to Columbia County Airport in Hudson, New York crashed in a field killing 6 people onboard, including Karenna Groff, the 2022 NCAA woman of the year.

I looked up what a group of Blue Jays is called, which is a "party" or "band." So here is a party of Blue Jays. (They do seem to like partying it up and causing a ruckus. I could see "a ruckus of Blue Jays" as a group name working too.)

if you’re stressing bc news is no longer showing the Palisades fire live, the Wilshire 2 camera on Watch Duty (circled here) has a direct bead on it still so you can peek and confirm it’s still behind the same ridge they’ve been holding it behind for a few hours now. I am much relieved each time.

An international research team has successfully drilled and retrieved a 9,186-foot-long (2,800-meter-long) ice core from Antarctica that dates back 1.2 million years. The sample extended so deep that it reached the bedrock beneath the Antarctic Ice Sheet.
