i understand and it’s frustrating how many talk about the law without really knowing it the legal system shouldn’t be so hard to navigate and everyone should have access to clear legal knowledge so people can truly know their rights and how things actually work

That’s exactly the problem so many people are trapped in the system because of faulty science and unreliable evidence It’s inspiring to see defenders fighting back and exposing these injustices Until the system values real facts over convenient shortcuts, innocent people will keep paying the price

There are thousands of people stuck in cages whose convictions are based on pseudoscience like bite mark matching and "fire science," and a really heroic Chicago public defender got ballistics evidence thrown out because the method used by the cops was objectively unreliable.

I totally get where you’re coming from If those who made the rules had to face the same treatment, maybe they’d think twice before allowing torture It’s only fair to hold everyone accountable
Back during the Iraq War when Congress voted that, yeah, torture really is ok as long as you call your victim a terrorist, I thought it would be appropriate if every member of Congress who voted Yes was waterboarded.

Absolutely if lawmakers and citizens had to experience the conditions they justify for others policies would change fast empathy comes from understanding the suffering you are willing to cause and most of the difference between them and you is not morals just luck
