the other thing about this is that there is no reason to pit these candidates against each other? each are good fits for their respective electorates and each shows the value of vigorous campaigns focused on the stated material problems of voters.

Bove is a f****** moron. The issue in the case is not whether writing the date is something that is difficult to do, but whether throwing out a vote when somebody *accidentally* forgets to write the date is an appropriate remedy.

Two key things to point out re: Trump sending National Guard troops to Memphis:
1) Unlike in blue states, there’s just no need for this; even if circumstances warranted, Governor Lee, who still commands the TN National Guard, could’ve just sent them in himself; and
2) Chicago (and Illinois) won.
