Many of our coalition members said most people they spoke to were attending their very first protest. Was it your first protest today? Protests across the country remained peaceful and powerful.

A woman walking home alone was shot point-blank with “non-lethal” rounds fired by officers in Los Angeles. A neighbor filmed the assault and rushed to help only to be fired on and ordered back.

The only people complaining about Bluesky are corporate media opinion columnists who have a 200,000 followers on X and 800 here.

The Trump administration is bypassing state authority by invoking Title 10 of the U.S. Code, a federal power usually reserved for major insurrections. This is a dangerous overreach, and it’s how martial law begins in the so-called land of the free.

Trump is deploying 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles without the governor’s request or consent. Governor Newsom has publicly condemned the move, calling it “purposefully inflammatory.”
