Tell em you have ADHD without saying you have ADHD:

It’s too quiet in here, it’s distracting.

Yes, in part accidents, but there are more things that can shorten the lifespan. People with ADHD tend to impulsively eat, leading to poor nutrition and obesity and all the complications of that. They have more struggles with mental health and a higher suicide rate. 1/2

Having #ADHD is realizing that I’m late and I have to do some makeup before leaving the house, hurriedly starting to do my makeup, forgetting that I’m late during the process, in the end being even more late with a full face of makeup on.

Way more. Some tips from someone with ADHD, whose partner also has ADHD with significant time blindness:

-time yourself getting ready to go out sometime. It takes longer than you think

-whenever you think you have to get out the door, add ten minutes to that
Being late is ultimately rude, but as someone who sits firmly on the time blindness side I’d ADHD, it can be way more than “you don’t respect other people.”

It'd probably just be a bunch of lines going through the same spot over and over again, but never making any real progress. 😂
