Usually, when I need an appointment at the VA, I can get one within 2 weeks. Today, I called for an appointment and the next available is in May, 2026. Firing 35K people will do that. The Trump administration hates veterans.

I sat through those drills for twenty years, locked in a dark classroom hiding with my anxious 7 year old students.. After Sandy Hook we were sure things would change.. I can't even listen to "thoughts and prayers" anymore. It makes me physically sick. We have failed our kids. Shame on us .
