3/4. If we accept the idea that moving a person from one place to another undoes rights and disempowers the judiciary, we are endorsing the basic Nazism practice that enabled the killing of millions.

Oh dear you’re going to want to read this. Looks like DOGErs were caught exfiltrating NLRB data, likely on unions, for private (seemingly Elony) use. This is must read. What we’ve all suspected. But now details. www.npr.org/2025/04/15/n...
A whistleblower's disclosure details how DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data
A whistleblower tells Congress and NPR that DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data and hid its tracks. "None of that ... information should ever leave the agency," said a former NLRB official.

Good way to see the current tariffs, as of literally today, is no tariffs on high value add manufactured goods marketed to middle and upper middle classes. Massive tariffs for cheap consumer items which amount to the biggest economic privilege of working class/middle class life in US.

I haven't seen anyone discuss this. But it kind of scares the fuck of out me. Now wld make a lot of sense as the moment for China to seize Taiwan and liquidate its government. The Pentagon is turmoil, unfocused and likely demoralized. Not saying they're not paying attn. But in relative terms ...

The Trump admin is dismantling Freedom of Information Act offices. Then the offices send out emails like, “Hello, the FOIA office has been placed on admin leave and is unable to respond to any emails.” The lengths this admin will go to ensure zero transparency with the American people is astounding.

One way of looking at yesterday is that Trump forgot the lesson of the law firms and universities. Go after one country at a time and that country is in a jam. Go after literally every country in the world at once, including the penguin countries, and you’re in the jam.

So, about the tariffs and global response, two things to say:
1. The 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the primary host nation being the United States and auxiliary host nations Canada and Mexico. I can foresee countries refusing to play any games in the U.S. because their athletes are not safe. (/1)

The voters REJECTED them all (in a state Trump won by 22 points in November).
