Lack of sun and cold weather during winter can be very hard as well, depending on where you're from, so it can make other issues worse. Hopefully things improve for you down the road.

Yeah the cable provided with the Quest is really not great for PCVR and it seems like Meta hasnt bothered to fix anything with it, so if someone has a PC and connection that can handle it theyre recommended to use Virtual Desktop or Steam Link.

I think there was a way for PSVR2 to access Steam VR right? I thought there was a way

The Steam Machine has been mentioned as being somewhat behind current gen consoles (PS5), youre going to still be limited on performance if you want to pair it with VR unless you play older VR titles. Would really wait a while after it comes out.
VRC could be a very mixed bag on what you can access

Can the Steam Frame interact with the Steam Machine? I know the Steam Machine asks as a little computer itself, but Im not informed of its capabilities working with a VR device. The Steam Deck can to some degree but its extremely limited.

Yeah, its possible following the holidays
I imagine Meta doesnt want to educate users in their advertising to use anything outside of what is compatible with the headset

It is primarily a wireless PCVR headset, so I think maybe people are getting the impression that it's meant for standalone like Quest headsets when it's not. Considering what the price point might be, if you purchase it without a computer to stream to vs a Quest 3, you might be at a loss

It's less powerful than the Steam Deck according to Valve, so I would consider your options first before fully investing.
